- Venue size and shapeA 20-guest drawing room and a rooftop that seats 60 are very different jobs. More floor to cover means more lighting runs and a wider backdrop. Rugs and seating can be added on request, charged separately.
- Marigold, fresh flowers or artificialMarigold strings are the classic mehndi look. Fresh flowers cost more and follow the market rate on the day, while artificial and mixed florals keep the budget steadier.
- Lighting planA fairy-light curtain comes with Basic. Ceiling canopies of lights, lanterns and extra rooftop wiring take more crew time and more stock.

A typical mehndi setup day, hour by hour
A typical day, not a fixed schedule. Real timings depend on your venue, package and event time.
- Booking dayYou confirm the date and venue on WhatsApp. A PKR 3,000-20,000 advance locks it and we agree colours and package.
- A few days beforeWe check the space on a visit or video call: power points, stair access and which way the stage will face.
- Setup day, early afternoonThe crew arrives and unloads. Frame and backdrop go up first, then drapes, florals and, if requested, the swing or sofa.
- Hours 2 to 6 of setupLights, lanterns and neon go in and the entrance and photo corner are finished. Rugs and gao takiya are laid only if requested. Larger rooftops take the longer end of the 3-6 hour range.
- Dusk checkWe switch everything on, check light levels and cable safety and move anything you want adjusted before guests arrive.
- The mehndi nightThe family takes over while the dholki and dancing run. The stage stays as set.

Yes, rooftops are very common in the October to March season. Evenings turn cold and breezy, so we secure drapes and lights properly and suggest a layout that keeps the stage out of the strongest wind. A tent or canopy cover is a separate arrangement.
What is the difference between marigold and floral mehndi stages?
Marigold gives the bright yellow-orange mehndi look and is the friendlier choice for budgets. Floral stages in pastels or white-and-green look softer and cost more, especially with fresh flowers.
How long does a mehndi setup take?
Typically 3 to 6 hours depending on the size of the venue and the package. We plan our arrival so everything is finished and checked before your guests come.
