Events In Sialkot
Most Sialkot mehndis happen on rooftops. These are the ideas we return to because they photograph well and survive wind and dust.
1. Fairy-light canopy
Strings crossing the roof from parapet to parapet make the whole rooftop the venue, not just the stage.
2. Marigold wall with fabric panels
Alternating marigold strings and coloured drapes on a frame gives a full backdrop without the weight of a solid wall.
3. Neon "Mehndi" or name sign
The one element every guest photographs. Centre it above the couple's sofa.
4. Low sofa plus floor seating
A low couple sofa keeps the stage in frame; floor seating with gao takiya and rugs in front seats 20–40 guests comfortably.
5. Lanterns at the corners
Warm pools of light where fairy lights don't reach; also the best spot for candid photos.
6. Weather-safe florals
Artificial base with fresh accents near the sofa — fresh flowers wilt fast in Sialkot's October heat.
7. A dholki circle
Leave a clear 8×8 ft rug area with cushions: the dholki is the event.
Share your rooftop photo on WhatsApp and we will suggest a layout and a price.
