One of the most common questions we get on WhatsApp is simply: 'how early should we book?' The honest answer depends on the function, but in Sialkot the safest rule is earlier than you think — good dates in wedding season disappear month by month, not week by week.
Recommended lead times by function
Barat and walima stage décor. These are our biggest builds — canopy stages, large florals, elaborate lighting — and they need the most planning time for fabric, flowers and crew. Book 6–10 weeks ahead for a November–February wedding date, and 3–4 weeks ahead in the quieter months.
Mehndi décor. A rooftop or home mehndi can often be arranged with 2–3 weeks' notice outside peak season, but during peak wedding months (November to February, plus Eid weeks) we recommend 4–6 weeks ahead so your preferred colour theme and backdrop size are still available.
Dholki, mayun and smaller functions. These are more flexible — 1–2 weeks is often enough — but if your dholki falls on a Friday or Saturday in peak season, book at least 3 weeks out to avoid disappointment.
Why peak season fills up fast
Sialkot weddings cluster heavily on weekends between November and February, and every good decorator, hall and photographer in the city is juggling the same 8–10 popular Saturdays. Once a date is gone, it is gone — we simply cannot double-book crew and stock for two stages on the same evening.
Advance payment norms
- Booking advance to confirm your date: PKR 3,000–5,000
- Balance due: on setup day, before or after installation as agreed
- Peak season (Nov–Feb weekends): book 6–10 weeks ahead
- Off-season or weekday functions: 1–3 weeks is usually fine
